Whomever the Organization thinks will deliver results, regardless of external factors.

Racism is about what is on your heart. No legislation, Rooney rule, bill or amendments will ever get rid of racism. If you have hate in your heart it is there and a law can't remove it.

Love America, there is no other country in the world that 14 % of the population can have such an impact.

To have someone who was a head coach claim racism, kinda has bad optics.

It is impossible to have a "logical" debate when the topic is emotional.

Not going to engage...emotion isn't a solution.

Anyway, back to sports...you poked the bear if you don't want to hear it, don't ask.

I respectfully disagree with the positions each of you has taken on the discussion, but your perspective is your perspective and I’m not here to try and change that. They’ve always said we live in two different Americas and the fact we can live in the same country and view it so differently and have such disproportionately different outcomes in mass is a testament to that notion. I bow out of the conversation on the premise that there is not enough common ground to be found for us to come to an agreement. Again, respectfully.

Re: Head Coach Search

At this point Dennis Allen and retaining much of the staff together is the best option going forward. Both Allen and Carmichael have coached and called the offense and defensive plays and been key in building the current system team structure and unity, which are not an issue. Not to imply that any of the candidates brought in, black white or any color or not worthy, but they would bring with with them a entirely new system and team of coaches. Unless the organization stipulates that certain coaches and system remain in place and why would any strong coaching candidate agree to that.

This team is neither disorganized or dysfunction and needs to start from square one. None of that hold true for the Saints. Some challenges ahead for the staff but with challenges lie opportunity.

Agreed. Loomis put it best when he said that the Saints are in a totally different position while searching for their next head coach than the other eight teams. Their head coaches were all fired. The Saints lost theirs through retirement.

It's now been four days since the Saints requested an interview with Leftwich. I still have seen any word of one being scheduled.

Facts. I’m curious to see what the hold up is. I want them to go ahead and make a decision. I heard the Bienemy interview lasted for 8 hours. I don’t know if that’s a good or a bad thing.

Actually they requested the Leftwich interview over a week ago from what I'm seeing now. They were granted the interview four days ago. Maybe they were waiting to talk with Bieniemy first.

Respect rez. It’s gone as far as it can here. You did give me things to consider. Hope I did the same.
