It's probably time for new blood anyway. Steelers do it all the time .

He claims he can't remember the last time he was wrong then proceeds to rip a member over a new coach coming in and keeping the current staff, particularly Defensive Coordinatior
"I quickly pointed out that Frank Reich of the Colts inhereted 3 of Josh McDaniels staff," three assistant coaches – defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus, offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo and defensive line coach Mike Phair – already had been hired during the post-season, ostensibly to work in concert with McDaniels. It's okay though he has a built in out he did point out "Not to my knowledge!" |

Speedo is a pesky little . NPD must be met full on - clear lines must be drawn and defended. Speedo chose this route. There were options his ego would not accommodate. Put me on iggy if you feel strongly. No offense taken. |

Re: Why does no one see the obvious - Sean Payton gave up. He didn't retire/step away
I don't even care that he quit. I just dislike the fact we won't get compensation until next year and a personnel decision he made that lengthens out our rebuilding process. Sometimes a change is good for everyone(example Andy Reid in Philly). We've been a good football team but stuck in limbo for quite some time. I've been ready for new leadership and Payton quitting has actually re-energized my interest in Saints football.
