Agreed. The only charge that might have a chance to stick for Kamara was the misdemeanor conspiracy to commit battery charge. Given video shows he wasn't one of those that actually kicked the guy's head there's no way he can be found guilty of the broken orbital bone which brought the felony serious bodily injury charge. And then there's the self-defense angle since the guy supposedly laid hands on their female companion first.

We may have seen Kamara's last days as a Saint or even in the NFL.

Ray Rice was about the same age then as Kamara is now.

If he does get convicted and spends time in the slammer, it's over for him as a pro. Hope he saved his money and lives frugally.

From the Saints' perspective, the personal conduct clauses would allow them to recoup some cap $. With their drafting Kendre Miller and signing Jamal Williams, I suspect they already know the outcome. Heck, they are even giving reps to Merrick as a RB.

It's a shame and sad, really. We all like Kamara. He just was not thinking for a minute. You never know, sometimes.

You're probably right about jail time (or lack thereof).

But missing many games & 6 figure checks ... probable.

It's not like he's 18, 19 years old. Serious times for AK.

Edit ** what's the deal on Marcus Maye? I thought all of his off-the-field stuff was handled in 2022.
