this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Sure ... now that it seems that hosting the Super Bowl seems to be the key to winning it, now we're not hosting it 😞...

Re: Bengals vs Lambs Superbowl Thread
Don't you all think we would have been worked over by the Refs in our SB game.
If it wasn't for some crazy Coach calling an onside kick to start the second half we would have been doomed as well. Remember we were playing against Peyton one of the poster boys of the league. I think Sean screwed the Refs heads up so bad that they forgot their red flag queues. As much as I hoped the Bengals would beat the fix I knew it was almost impossible. |

Re: Bengals vs Lambs Superbowl Thread
I haven't watched a SB in a long time. Are they always so PC and woke? It was kind of dumb.
Too bad the Bengals lost. Refs started throwing flags the last drive. It almost looked like they changed what they had been doing earlier. Like the fix was in. Maybe I'm just getting old. |

Re: Bengals vs Lambs Superbowl Thread
Was just wondering if anyone on this board was pulling for the Rams.
Only few things I can think of against Cincy maybe that "Who They" bs. or Chris Collinsworth or maybe Eli Apple can't be ole Boomer so maybe Chris Collinsworth. |

Re: Bengals vs Lambs Superbowl Thread
Second time the Refs literally made the Rams win the playoffs in the last few years. First time was against the Saints a few years ago when they missed an obvious pass interference which helped the Rams get into the Super Bowl. Second was tonight against the Bengals on a bogus holding call the extended the drive and a bogus missed holding call that prevented a Bengals TD that helped the Rams win the Super Bowl. NFL really wants the Rams to win, it's pretty obvious. It almost makes me want to boycott the league.

Re: Bengals vs Lambs Superbowl Thread
Bengals got away with some calls earlier in the game as did the Rams - what is ridiculous is that the referees suddenly change the way they call penalties at the end of the game.

Re: Bengals vs Lambs Superbowl Thread
Thought the ref’s called a good no call game and let the teams play … Right until the last few minutes and then they went all in on making the LA Rams SB Champs. Goodell and the NFL should be held accountable but naturally that ain’t happen.
