Hated the pick and tell people to watch his film vs Bama in the CFB playoffs - just not impressed at all...

Seems like Payton was just throwing **** at the wall to see if he could find a Brees 2.0 that would stick. He liked him some short Qb’s. About the only thing I took away from that one game is that he is tough. Takes a lot more than that though. Winston is our best shot this year but at some point in the near future we are going to have to make a play for a Qb in the draft.

Not many QBs look good against Bama, especially with non-SEC type talent. Tom Brady didn't light up the football field in Michigan. You could in fact argue that Ian Book's numbers look better at Notre Dame than Tom Brady's numbers at Michigan.

Blake Bortles is your #2 QB for New Orleans until proven otherwise.

Right. I don't trust those ND QB's.

The Book was put on the bookshelf and never read.

So one game with arguably college level help due to Covid rules no longer in place defines his NFL tenure?

So Joe Montana sucked?

It's a wee bit premature to close the book on Ian Book, neaux?
