Saints vs. Vikes game
Am I the only person here that is really REALLY worried about this game? If the Saints start out the season 1-3, we are in deep sh!t.
I know that Brown is listed as questionable, but I hope this is one of Haz's little tricks to mess with the other team. We need Brown to play in this game. I think the Saints are doing a pretty good job of stopping the run, but damn, the Panthers and the Giants made the secondary look bad. Not to mention the Vikes are coming in and looking at 0-3 if they lose. They have to be freakin out right now. I doubt they are saying..."Wow, we better be careful, the Saints are looking at 1-2". I'm just sitting here drinking beer and stressing out about the game. What do you guys think about this game? I'm freakin out! |

RE: Saints vs. Vikes game
Remember the Saints are above 500 on the road, so this is a win. The Saints always play to the level of their competition and thats why it killed me to see the Giants beat us on Monday night. The Giants are not that good and the Saints are alot better than that.

RE: Saints vs. Vikes game
Yeah, well you also have to look at the fact that the Saints usually play "down" to other teams' levels. Culpepper has had a bad season so far. I think he is going to get back into the game against the Saints.
I think the Saints are better than what they played on Monday, but they usually beat the teams that they shouldn't and lose to teams they should beat. |

I would be shocked to win this game.
A team considered to be good (and I think they are better than they've played) facing 0-3 at home? We have lost like 6 in a row to them....last win in 93. I am just afraid Dante will get it together at our expense. |

I don't think I would be "shocked". Bottom line is that the Saints need to put this damn game in their pocket early. If Dante starts getting into a rythm, we're screwed. I hope Deuce comes out and gets it done this week.

I just want to watch the game. I don't have cable, but since Hurricane Rita I can't catch FOX. This is lame. I'm calling my friends to see if I can go watch the game at their house. However, none of them are answering. They probably have hang overs.
