And what if we don’t draft LT and WR? What if Jameis sucks with Pete Carmichael running the offense? Then we are stuck with no first rounder next year. There’s a whole lot of assumptions involved to justify this trade.

OMG so much negativity … probably means they will nail it if history is any indication of past performance. 2 more potential starters on 5 year contracts … Maybe looking and mucho cap space for free agent signing. I know I know Glass Half Full to the max.

1. Same coach, different position
2. MT can be just as dominant
3. Winston will be the QB
4. With the speed of the legal system is may be after the season before anything is known
5. It will look better than last year with only one starter playing the whole season

But, then again, I look at the cup being full.

Yup. I have never understood expecting the worst. I'm loving this. We are in a win now mode. We can win it all with a few more reachable pieces.

Anybody think we may have gotten two first rounders to trade for a much higher 1st? Is there a THAT guy in the top 5? I don't follow enough college FB.

I wouldn't think so. Too many holes to do that and not have a 1st next year.

Honestly, I hope not myself, I agree I'd rather keep the picks and use them well. Just wondering.

Howell will be there in the 2nd. Western Kentucky qb which broke a ton of records will be there in the 4th. I really think this is a tackle and wr move

I want Loomis fired. This is the last straw. We are due for a likely down year and now Philly is robbing us of a likely top 10 pick, perhaps #1 overall in 2023. Allens best year as a head coach was 4-12 and now we need him to go 9-8 to half way break even on this trade. We can all argue all day but lets wait and look back on this trade in 10 months when we see the position of that pick. Fire Mickey Loomis!
