Im guessing the answer will be yes, but Did your mom TALK like New Orleans?
I love the way New Orleans people talk.
Indeed she did! Always could tell she was a Nawlins native.

So sorry to hear this Boston and please don't ever feel like you have to apologise for things like this.
Having those fond memories are gold, myself and my dad constantly find ourselves laughing about some of the stuff his late Father would do / say.

Thinking of you and your family in this tough time.

Re: Saints lose a great fan today.

My folks owned a Motel in Forsyth Montana. Doug Kershaw stayed there while doing a tour through the area. She has a pic of her with him autographed to his Louisiana Lady

I remember her dropping me off in the rain in first grade telling me she’d stay there all day till i got off from school 😄.

She taught me to cook Gumbo

Boston

This was really emotional for me to read your post on multiple levels right now as I'm in a big health fight, lost my Mom (all my family) the past two and half years...

You have all my empathy and condolences as you begin to learn to live without being able to converse actively with her...

Will say this has helped me with my experience - how you live your life and live it well, is her legacy and testament and gives her eternal life through you...

You will learn, as corny as this may sound, there will be situations where you find yourself rehashing a life lesson with her like Superman speaking with an image of his late father (best comparison I got)...

And she will have a lot of her guidance, wisdom, advice, and love is already packed away in you to help you, you just have to learn how to access it and apply it when needed...

All my Empathy and Love for you as you cope with her passing, and although you will miss sharing jokes, politics, or Saints games, her Spirit is with You...

DP (jeanpierre)

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: Saints lose a great fan today.

Please accept condolences from me and my family on the loss of your mother. May she be second lining with the real saints, not just the football team.

Not selfish at all. We all have either gone through it or will go through it and we need as much help as we can get as we grieve. Sorry to here about her passing.
