I'd be willing to bet they felt they were attempting to hit gold and not just draft a special teams player. But that said, if they can hit the field on special teams and contribute day one until they get that golden hue ... then by all means.

From everything I've read and seen he has the abilities to be very good but will need time with NFL coaches. I see him getting a shot later in the season so let's keep him busy on special teams in the meantime.
