If the rookie turns into a quality starter within 3 years, it's another feather in the cap for Saints scouting brass.

Kris Richard has a TON of talent to work with.

Agreed.

Saints secondary has never had this much talent and that along with the pass rush should see a synergy effect that should put the defense among the elite in QB pressures...

If Payton Turner and Davenport can stay healthy, then defensively this year could be very fun.

Go to the Saint Report. You'll find plenty over there.

All I can muster right now is that the Saints Guards are subpar and they need LB depth.

Our young LB'ers are turning head in OTA's. We might be alright with who we have. We still have the option of signing Kwon.

Our new athletic department has the potential to make this team better by applying science. Keeping players healthy is more important than good depth. Although, not by much.

Contact, Hitting, PreSeason games, Guys going all out to make an NFL roster, establish a NFL career so we really don't know; but this roster needs veteran LBer help...

It'll be interesting to see just how big an impact they have on the recovery and health of this roster - probably one of the most overlooked stories this offseason...

Coach Allen has mentioned Alontea quite a bit this off-season.

If he continues to progress at camp, I wouldn't be shocked to see him in some sub-packages in real games.

We all know that DA has said his plan is to play Taylor at CB however down the road, I do expect him to transition to safety. Sort of like how they did with Malcolm J.

Training camp will be nice this year

Taylor has been an unexpected surprise. I had no idea who he was when we picked him up and felt disappointed in the pick at the time. Now and then I enjoy a good helping of crow.

Bump ...

Alontea Taylor appears to be the real deal at corner as a ROOKIE.

His coverage skills are very polished to be so young. Apparently, the Saints scouts knew exactly what they wanted to see in him to be taken so early in the draft.

Good game on yesterday Taylor.
