Same number as Brooks.
I don't understand all you Delhomme backers, the guy is average.
Hell we had Kerry Collins on this team once too. Where are all his supporters.

PLEASE STOP BRINGING UP DELHOMME.
The debate is irrelevant.

Frank, it is simple , actually.

1.- Jake takes responsibility of his actions when he screws up and his team loses, but credits everyone but himself when his team wins. Sound bites like " I'm greatful of where I am", "without Stephen Davis/Steve Smith/o-line/ we don't win"; "I screwed up, it's my fault", "they were right to boo us, we stunk the place up", can go on and on, but you get the idea...
2.- You'll never hear Jake claiming himself "top 5", or that he's being "disrespected"
3.- Cares none about stats
4.- He's a leader.
4.- He's a local boy (nothing wrong with being a homer, that's why you cheer for the Saints to begin with).

As for Culpepper, I have to admit that all these years I was led to believe he was good by the media. He's not that good. Guess when you are lofting balls so Randy Moss can make a play on the ball, you look good...

Could not have said it better myself Reiper.

AB is not and never has been nor ever will be a LEADER! M-O-N-E-Y is AB's only goal, and this is his last tit to suck dry. When and if we ever get rid of this clown lets see how much another team will be willing to pay him and will he start.

RE: Re: Yes Aaron sucks...

Guys, our defense was all over Culpepper for 2 1/2 quarters. (End of the 2nd, the 3rd, and 4th) Look at how many sacks we had. We constantly had people in the backfield over and over again going after Culpepper. How many interceptions did he have? How many fumbles did he have? How many dumb drive killing plays did he have?

If the only thing that was switched in this game was the quarterback (Brooks and Culpepper playing for the opposite team), the Saints would have racked up a come back win.

There is NO way Brooks can handle the pressure that Culpepper handled. Brooks was blitzed on occaision and he was running backwards like a little league quarterback. Culpepper was blitzed on nearly every single play in the last two quarters. We were constantly in his face and he was still making plays.

As far as Delhomme goes, I personally think he shouldn't be any higher than a back-up quarterback. However, he did lead his team to a Super Bowl and nearly win it. He's good.

Between Culpepper and Brooks, well, there really is no comparison.

The Defense put itself in the situation, of not be able to pressure Culpepper, cover any WR. The first TD could've been held to a FG, the other 3 scores????? when does our defense get a turnover? when does our defense score off a turnover???

Our offense needs to play better, in every aspect but make no mistakes about it, if we can't pressure the QB, get turnovers score off turnovers, you and I will be in here complaining every freakin week!
We played damn good defense for 2 1/2 quarters. We were getting all sorts of pressure on Culpepper. We constantly had people in the backfield. We racked up a rediculous amount of sacks.

On the other hand, we didn't play good offense for a single quarter. Pathertic.

Yeah, I see him for what he is, a good QB who had a horrible game yesterday, and needs to snap out of that pretty damn quickly if this team is going to go remotely anywhere.

As I already said....there's not one Saints player whose performance I care to defend from yesterday. I firmly believe they're gonna snap out of it....I just hope it's not Game 11 of the season before it happens.

Yeah, I see him for what he is, a good QB
First mistake.

who had a horrible game
Why don't you go look at the last 7 games he has played. That would be the 4 wins last year, and the three games this year. The only times he has looked REMOTELY decent is in the Carolina games. Other than that, outside a couple of 4th quarter miracle catches at Tampa by Joe Horn, he has played horrible. Dallas game, horrible. 3 1/2 quarters of the Tampa game, horrible, Atlanta game, horrible. Add tha tot he backward pass, underhanded lineman pass, and leading the league in red zone turnovers and somehow out of that you get a good QB who had a horrible game? Boy you are deluded.

Get off Jake's nuts for about three seconds. This conversation is about Aaron Brooks now. Is the only defense you have for Aaron Brooks to try and bring down Jake Delhomme? That's weaker than the usual BS. Let me solve this debate for you on that topic, post Jake's superbowl stats please. You can spout off numbers from his FIRST SEASON AS A STARTER well, so post his numbers from last year, with half the team out, then post Brooks. After you finsih embarrassing yourself over that, get back to Brooks and ask yourself, what does Brooks sucking have to do with Jake Delhomme and why that is your only defense for Aaron? Maybe some counseling will help your obsession. So to recap, Jake's stats in the superbowl against the Pats, then his follow up last season, as compared to Brooks Superbowl numbers, and his stats from last season. I'll be waiting. Then, tell me what that has to do with Brooks sucking 5 of the last 7 games the Saints have played?

Oh I get it, when Aaron screws up horribly, it's a TEAM game, but when another QB screws up, he lost the game. Yup, done again.
Do you know why the people jumped all over you and others on this Jake issue? LET ME REFRESH your memory since you have developed amnesia! Oooh Jake aauugghh Jake he is the best I wish he was still our QB, why did they ever let him go. I hate Brooks, he's garbage Jake, Jake, Jake look at what he did last year with a depleted team, ya-da-ya-da-ya-da. Remember 24/7 everyday when ever I came to this forum these were the posts you left here!

And now you want to cry foul like a chick.
I'm sorry, what does that have to do with someone being hypocritical about football being a team game only when it comes to Aaron Brooks? When your comprehension passes 2nd grade, get back at me. Until then, stay out of grown folks' business. And what I posted about Jake Delhomme was him winning the QB challenge. Boy, that burned you for the whole summer. Damn, that's sad. Obsess much? Oh, yes you do. LMAO!!!

I'm sorry, what? Cause I caught you in a lie about Cowboys fans you try to call me a liar? I said I wanted Jake over Aaron last year, wow, you discovered America, no wait that was Columbus. What else can you announce that we all already know? Maybe you can tell the secret that my screen name is saintswhodi. I am sure noone knows that. Are you a real person? I bet you right now I said no such thing EVERY DAY. I bet I said it every time you made some jackass statements like you are doing now. And I am backpedaling? Mr. our playoff win doesn't count cause we played no playoff teams that season, when we did? You can't be serious. I have yet to see Jake's Superbowl Stats, and his stats from last year. When are you gonna provide those for us? Don't try to deflect now like you do with Brooks. Let me make this clear Capt. Obvious, I WISH JAKE WAS OUR QB AND NOT AB. I THINK AB SUCKS. Now that that is out the way, tell me Jake's Superbowl stats, then his stats from last year, and compare his stats from last year to Aaron's. If you are not backpedaling, your next post will have this info, and no more deflection crap.
