I'm actually looking forward to the fall and cooler temperatures ... and I'm not a fan of cold weather . |

We've had St. Augustine for 30 years. It handles the heat well and is thick and plush right now with intermittent watering. It's been dry as hell here and 100 almost every day for 40 days. We have a lawn treatment service that handles fertilization and pest applications year round which helps. I mow to four inches which they said was best for St. Augustine and it does seem to be ideal for our climate here, for sure. |
