Both the shoulder and finger issues are related to previous injuries…one dating back to his college days. If the injuries had not happened then he wouldn’t need to be rehabbing from surgeries. It’s not like he had his appendix out unexpectedly. Spin it how you like.

He had shoulder issues last season. Why is it a surprise that they addressed it in the off-season. That's a good thing.

A player doesn't get surgery to address a problem and people complain. A player gets surgery to address a problem and people complain. Go figure.
