So, Winston is back practicing after tearing his knee 8 months ago. Thomas is not back practicing because of an ankle injury suffered about 16 months ago. Ok…..

No question the delay to have the surgery was a head scratcher, but ankles actually have more tendons, ligaments and muscles involved than a knee injury... Then of course there are infections and other set backs... Feel the frustration, but the ankle injury has more moving parts than a knee - not that a torn ACL or MCL is a walk in the park... Committing that much salary cap to one player is always a big risk, but he was playing at an elite level and the worst case scenario unfolded... Let's see what unfolds throughout training camp and when teams start disclosing injury reports, we may get more details... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Not every case is the same - and if I didn't make it clear before, the GM in me is really frustrated we've got that much cap space committed to a player that's on the bench... |

HIPPA laws do not apply to the team relaying information on a player's health. HIPPA applies directly to health insurance and medical providers sharing information.
