As for camp, he'll be competing with KC Smoke brisket (Sorensen) & Evans for a special teams slot.

I heard both Davenport and Turner did not practice due to, wait for it…..injury issues.

Davenport is recovering from an off-season shoulder surgery and a procedure on his finger. These are issues from LAST season being addressed just like all of the other players didn't practice. Recovery, not injury issues.
