That's the real leadership right there. Working hard, trying to get better and perfect your craft. Your teammates are gonna take notice of that stuff.

Comeback POTY and MVP Candidate (He won’t win MVP because of politics/popularity). Brady will get it as a consolidation/retirement present.

No way Brady gets it if they don't make the playoffs.

I was totally against the Saints signing Winston from the start. However, I've liked everything I have seen from him since he got here. I have not heard any complaining, no dumb shenanigans, no trouble off the field, and seems he is respected in the locker room. Good job, Jameis!

Re: Winston Showing Leadership

Just came across this tweet talking about the vast improvement of QB passer ratings after the age of 28 in the NFL. It was in reference to Dak Prescott, but our very own Jameis Winston is also just 28 years old and his career passer rating is 87.8, almost exactly that of Drew Brees at the same age.

He has said and done all the right things on and off the field. He is projecting the persona and attitude of a leader. I will give him the benefit of the doubt until I see otherwise. I really hope all this translates into better performance on the field.
Sociopaths are also very good at convincing people they are the last person in the world that would be a serial killer.
I hope Winston gets out on the field and kills it but if not I think Andy Dalton has what it takes to get this team to the playoffs. We have done a pretty good job making this team very Qb friendly.

Better than exactly what? Winston went 4-2 in 6 complete starts last year throwing 14 TD, only 3 INTs, with a 102+ passer rating. And this is with a receiver corps that is now #4,#5, and #6 on the depth chart.

I guess for some better performance on the field actually means "until he wins the team a Super Bowl." because that assessment doesn't seem to be based on any actual statistics.

If Winston does exactly what he was doing last year (and I don't think he will. It will be even better.) and plays 17 games healthy, the Saints will win the South and be a high playoff seed in the NFC in 2022.

So, exactly what kind of "performance" are you looking for?

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.
