I gave JP (David) the ole chooch! Talked loud near him and held his hand. I told him everyone here is praying for him.

Earlier today David awakened and told Joann (caretaker) that he was "very scared" of what might happen. He said his mind was consumed with fear of not knowing what happens next.

I told David not to worry - the world is kinda crappy right now and we're all asking Our Maker to open the gates for our brother JP (David). He will be in a better place.

I also insisted I was "Halo" and "everyone at blackandgold.com was thinking and praying" for him. He squeezed my hand. I told him this was a good thoughtful thread, and he will be remembered.

We're going to do some things to memorialize members who we know have passed away. JoeSam was the first member I met from here who passed on us. I still remember him. Nicest guy you could ever meet. We grabbed ribeye steaks in da quarter along with some cocktails back around 2006-07.

Please pray JP (David) heads off fast and easy. He has suffered enough here on earth.
It breaks my heart to hear that he's scared. I hope your words brought him peace. Hits a little close to home, considering my Dad passed in December due to cancer. Thankfully he had no doubts or worries about what comes next, and was very much ready to go, even if we weren't ready for him to go. We have a graceful and merciful God, and I fully believe that if there's something..holding David back, I suppose I'll say..then God will allow him the time and clarity he needs to sort that out, even if no one else is privy to it. I'll be praying hard for whatever his spirit needs to be free to go home. Thank you for the updates, and for letting him know we're praying for him and thinking of him.
