Is that type of headache really worth a minor upgrade in compensation? SFIAH |

Re: CGJ Traded to Eagles
I'm sure he has our game circled on the schedule as a grudge match. I expect him to be wired up for that exchange of words. Good luck with everyone but us little man. Stay off the social media before the game and don't follow Eli Apple's example of poor sportsmanship.

Re: CGJ Traded to Eagles
It will be interesting to see how he is used in the Philly system. I sure schematically this will be a whole new system, assignments and responsibilities.
He has great instincts and Football IQ but he does not the talent in that DB room that he has had in New Orleans. |

Re: CGJ Traded to Eagles
If at any time he said "pay me, or trade me, or you will wish you had" then New Orleans Front Office had no choice.
1. We do not have the cap space to pay him. 2. Trade him - What we did. 3. Wish we had. This is why we had to trade him and had to do it this year. If he followed through then he may have damaged any value he would have next year since it is one thing to throw tantrums and another thing to tank on the field. The front office made the correct choice from what I have seen, value is both fluid and subjective. Not every good player, is a good fit. |

Re: CGJ Traded to Eagles
I’ve heard people say “you love him if he plays for you and hate him if he plays against you”. Well I’m guessing not everyone even loved playing with him. Thomas disliked it enough to fight him.

Re: CGJ Traded to Eagles
Great perfect timing. I guess Maye decided to wait until the day after we traded CJGJ to assault someone with a weapon . Jesus Christ

Re: CGJ Traded to Eagles
So, Kamara is in trouble for assault and Maye is in trouble for assault…then CGJ is traded for peanuts…(yes I know the Saints didn’t know). Sounds like the start to a hell of a year ! 😀

Re: CGJ Traded to Eagles
Seeing what they paid for maye I don’t blame him for wanting to get paid. This guy played his arse for us and they pay a guy (outsider)who was already in legal problems. This stinks, turning out to be another Malcolm Jenkins situation. We know how that turned out
