Great quote. It is true that Loomis should take more responsibility for bringing all these problematic players onto the team. Especially considering he traded up for both CGJ and Kamara in the draft, as well as Penning who started off his career by fighting teammates in practice too. And then Maye was his #1 offseason acquisition even knowing the extreme DUI accident. By shipping off CDJ for cheap and still continuing his ways of acquiring and trading up for more of these players and taking no blame for himself, Loomis is effectively blaming someone else, saying CDJ was the problem and now its solved and everything is great and depth is amazing when its not. Loomis is a failure blaming others not taking responsibility when him management is the common link. For all the players with character issues we have, there might be a few more class acts if we had stood pat or traded back in the draft and had extra selections, not traded up for all these players with character issues.

Must be lots of teenagers who just really likes pictures of old dudes in pimp/pirate party costumes around here then, Bako. Memes are part of the local culture here at B&G.

P.S. Including a cat as the feature of the meme garners extra credit!

I guess technically we didnt trade up for Penning but basically we did because he was our second first round pick and we traded up to get two first round picks. Just curious bako…it’s been said that Loomis was the cap/money guy and Payton was the player guy. Do you think that’s so, and IF that’s so, how does Loomis bear responsibility for fitting guys under the cap that the coach wanted?

Allegedly. This is America. Too many people are convicted prior to a fair hearing. I am all for the guilty being punished. But until that is established our American system of justice is always supposed to assume innocence.

I don’t think anyone is excusing him IF the accusations are true. Question is what does the organization do about it now outside of let the legal and league process play out. If he’s on the team and playing, then you want him to play well, don’t you?

Exactly! We are paying him. Let him do his job.

Maye was drunk driving. Hit a car. Fled the scene. Lied to police.

Allegedly.

He failed to report the incident to officials which is protocol. Which is lying again.

Six weeks later he's caught speeding on an expired license.

Allegedly. Because that hasn't bee adjudicated either...

Now he's ACCUSED of pointing a gun at a car full of young girls.

Allegedly pointing a gun...

You can call me unfair but I see a pattern I want no part of. What's next?

I don’t disagree with you. I don’t think anyone wants him to do these things.
