According to the NFL rules, no team can simply sign him.

LTrain quite possibly chose his new team (more playing time) and money.

The way we ignored him in the 3rd quarter, I can’t blame him.

I wish LT well, he’s been a very good player every-time he suited up for the Saints
Rugby Saint II and stickman like this.

This is correct. It is Murray's call. Last week he was sitting on his couch and all 31 other teams had access to signing him and didn't. Since he was simply elevated from the practice squad for the game Sunday he was still available to be approached (or more likely his agent was) and offered a roster spot. Maybe even while the game was going on. Who knows?

He has a shot of being the #1 in Denver. For the Saints to keep him they would have needed to release a player off the 53 man roster and THEN pay him more than what the Broncos offered. We might think it sucks, but it is how the practice squad game is played.

Once again, Nick Underhill with some great insight. By the way, the Broncos, according to Spotrac, have the 6th most 2022 cap space available. They can easily offer him more than we have available for the entire remaining season.
