Re: Broncos sign Murray off the practice squad
According to the NFL rules, no team can simply sign him.
LTrain quite possibly chose his new team (more playing time) and money. The way we ignored him in the 3rd quarter, I can’t blame him. I wish LT well, he’s been a very good player every-time he suited up for the Saints |

Re: Broncos sign Murray off the practice squad
Its ok, if we want him back Loomis will just trade high round future draft picks to make it happen. We are so deep we dont need any draft picks anyway.

Re: Broncos sign Murray off the practice squad
My initial thoughts to seeing this last night was, the hits just keep on coming. I like what he brought in the last game.

Maybe even while the game was going on. Who knows?
He has a shot of being the #1 in Denver. For the Saints to keep him they would have needed to release a player off the 53 man roster and THEN pay him more than what the Broncos offered. We might think it sucks, but it is how the practice squad game is played. |

Re: Broncos sign Murray off the practice squad
Once again, Nick Underhill with some great insight. By the way, the Broncos, according to Spotrac, have the 6th most 2022 cap space available. They can easily offer him more than we have available for the entire remaining season.
