I'm 6'0" tall. I graduated high school in 2008. During that time cornerbacks were still on the small side. Richard Sherman was one of the first prototypes of the transition to bigger corners. We had a WR on our team that was 6'6", 220 lbs. He was ranked only behind Julio Jones and AJ Green as a WR. Me being on the taller spectrum for a corner, I never had any complaints or issues playing press-man to man against somebody like that. I can put my hands on them. It's easier for me to track them and I can compete for the jump balls. A small thin receiver though? Man to man gets a little more difficult. I say all that to say that Lattimore can run that press man all day against Metcalf, Evans, or Hopkins...but when you run across Lockett, Jett, Higgins, etc. you have to make an adjustment and sprinkle some zone into the equation. You can't run with those guys all game and eventually they're going to double move your ass for a TD.

FYI - > Hadn't seen anyone post it yet but Deonte Harty suffered a turf toe injury.
Per reports, he could miss SIGNIFICANT time if not the remainder of the season. |

Re: Seahawks @ Saints Game Day Thread
On the play Latt was injured, he was the only one that made a play on the ball. I believe Adebo thought he had safety help over the top. But his help(Evans) didn’t get deep enough and watched the ball sail over his head.
We missed Maye big time yesterday. |

When you were little. Not fumbling is expected. It'd a what's understood doesn't have to be explained type of thing or at least should be. As professional football player atp in your career you shouldn't need that reiterating it should automatic atp.

No decent returns and a huge lost fumble last week. |

Nothing more, nothing less. The Saints aren't exactly stocked with healthy WRs at the moment. |

Re: Seahawks @ Saints Game Day Thread
At the end of the game when the Saints went Victory Formation it was getting chippy. The camera's go to Allen on the sidelines and he continually taps his head telling the players to "use your head"! over and over.
Payton would've stared the players down and they would've shaped right up. I don't think Allen is HC material. He's like many others that tried the switch but the HC mentality is just different. |

Rashid Shaheen might be an upgrade. In a contract year that's going to make you more attractive than Harty. I'm sure that's why he's here in the first place.
