He signed that $96,250,000 contract after "holding out" of a few days of off season activities on July 31, 2019 well ahead of the start of the season on September 9th. His agent handled his upcoming opportunity as well as any of us would wish ours would if we were in the same position. Good for him and his agent. Well deserved and didn't cost him the opportunity to miss any of the final five plus weeks of preseason activities or more importantly miss any games.
