It seems like in Mapcow world that the team should never invest any money into any player ever. Players like Cam Jordan are unicorns. Each and every player in the NFL is subject to injury. Injuries that will keep them out of games. Even the most talented get injured. But you have to pay the talented to stay.

So, are you saying that the Saints should become a farm team? That they draft talented rookies, work them on rookie contracts, then let them all go to free agency?

I mean Lattimore is injured too. Should we get rid of him too?

Explain it to me like I'm 5, please.

The prima donna has not played a full season with his team in 3 years....get rid of him. his injury is suspect, but convenient....Simple As for Lattimore... he is inconsistent

Still doesn't clarify. We have many players who haven't played a full season in 3 years. Are they all prima donnas? Do we get rid of all of them?

Lattimore is inconsistent. So, do we not pay him and let him go to free agency?

I understand that you want more value and more production from players. What I don't understand is what to do when you don't (or more likely can't) get the players you seem to be wanting.

It looks like the Cardinals will be minus their starting left guard and center. And also their starting OLB. Not to mention Hollywood Brown.

Just to give an idea of what some other teams are going through with injuries ... the Ravens had 13 players listed as DNP today.

Brutal on many rosters.

The Ravens gave some veterans a rest day. We are missing multiple key starters who came into the season with injury histories that optimists said did not matter. Our injury issues are not an accident. We covet and reward injury prone players. We are one of the oldest teams in the league. We stay old through multiple Loomis strategies. We frequently trade multiple draft picks for one so that while most teams gain 7 young players each draft we gain 3-4. We let healthy players go in their prime then resign them when they are old and washed up thinking they are the same player.

If Michael Thomas gets healthy and performs we should trade him while we can. If he doesnt we should cut him this offseason and pray he signs with a division rival.

We also play on artificial turf and have lousy doctors.

Injuries beget injuries. When you have an old team with many brittle starters and one goes down it forces others into new assignments and unfamiliar roles and breaks down protection, leading to more injuries, making the newly injured players more subject to injury in the future.

simple... prima donna has not done squat for the saints for quite a while now....we should have gotten rid of him 3 years ago when he failed to stay healthy....move on... get somebody that wants to play and win.... fire him....

Trading Michael Thomas at this point is the worst idea.

The man was breaking records and got a huge contract to reflect his output on the field. After the contract, he suffers multiple injuries that prevent him from getting back on the field. The Saints would get very little in trade value for him and still have to spend millions on a contract for a guy that isn't even on the team.

Not to mention he is still leading the team in TD receptions this season and should have plenty more as soon as he returns.

I know that Will(*insert team name here*)81 had been kicked off that other site just as Bako claims he had, but I don't remember Will***81 posting expansive run-on paragraphs of illogical gibberish. Most of his were 40 words or less. The negativity was on par, however.
