Lattimore is inconsistent. So, do we not pay him and let him go to free agency?

I understand that you want more value and more production from players. What I don't understand is what to do when you don't (or more likely can't) get the players you seem to be wanting.

simple... prima donna has not done squat for the saints for quite a while now....we should have gotten rid of him 3 years ago when he failed to stay healthy....move on... get somebody that wants to play and win.... fire him....

Re: Injury Report - Week 7 - Saints @ Cardinals

Trading Michael Thomas at this point is the worst idea.

The man was breaking records and got a huge contract to reflect his output on the field. After the contract, he suffers multiple injuries that prevent him from getting back on the field. The Saints would get very little in trade value for him and still have to spend millions on a contract for a guy that isn't even on the team.

Not to mention he is still leading the team in TD receptions this season and should have plenty more as soon as he returns.

Indeed Ice. His contract makes him untradeable. Plus he is effective on the rare occasions he can play. But, again, his contract dead money is practically indigestible…like Cam Jordan’s (I only bring that up because a trade rumor was posted earlier).

Iceshack,

You're bringing logic to an emotion fight. Mapcow wants Thomas gone no matter the cost because he doesn't like the player, his contract, or his injury situation.

He's made his position clear. I gently suggest just letting it go.

Got it. You don't like Mike Thomas. Thanks for being clear. None of your criteria apply to any other player. So, it isn't the criteria. It's the player.
