The NFL wanted every team to suck and be eligible for playoffs with an 8-9 record, very much like hockey. Welcome to today's NFL. Under that standard, we still have a chance, slim as it is. Last year's Bengals made it to the SB with less than a top notch record, didn't they? |

This QB draft will be pretty deep. Maybe if things shake out right Hooker or DTR or another desirable QB will slip into 2nd or 3rd round while Bryce Young and the flavor of the month choices go at the top of the draft.

Re: Observations from the Saints' Loss to the Ravens
Just watched the highlights, I'm really glad I didnt stay up (UK time) for that game.
As usual, team looks flat, uninspired and really poorly coached. The throws to the flat by Jackson were an automatic 8+ yards because the defenders were playing so far off. That's not even counting the yardage after the inevitable missed tackle or 3. DA and Loomis let a ton of defensive talent walk and it shows. This team is just poor all around. I'm starting to think we need a full reboot, including some coaching staff members. |
