Did they forget how to incorporate taysom & Alvin after one week. Just sad OC have to script plays for dalton to have Kamara as 1st and only option against raiders then Dalton won’t look for AK when plays break down. OC not adjusting to the defensive schemes or Dalton not able to read and react is a problem. Need an offensive minded coach and DA to focus only on defense. NFC South sux. The sad thing comes draft time I will be watching ALL those qb’s be drafted before 2nd rd. One might drop but most likely going need time to develop and adding a qb coach to help with the development. Think Brees will be up to the challenge for being a qb coach?

That's it. I'm all for Dennis Allen being vacated from his job.

Looking at how our division is doing in general, the NFC South has become the old NFC East. We're all in a rough place both short and long term.

Guido pumping sunshine.

First play, third series, first quarter, Taysom was in at QB and was stopped for no gain. The next play he was targeted at TE with a Dalton pass. By the second possession of the second quarter the Saints were down by 14.

I feel they have certain plays designed for Taysom and if the situations do not arise he doesn't get the call to even hit the field.

I saw him open a couple of other times but he didn't appear to be an early option in the progression. Dalton just never seems to see the entire field. Brees was phenomenal at that. We were spoiled. Although, I still feel Winston is better at it than Dalton.

Excuse me for trying to stay positive at times. This was a game no one had us winning.

Some positives (sunshine) from Monday Night ...

- Chris Olave continues to shine. He'd be great with a QB that could actually throw downfield.

- Alontae Taylor once again looked great in coverage.

- Marcus Maye looked to have a very solid game while leading the team in tackles.

- Kaden Ellis filled in pretty well for Werner after he went down.

- Ruiz continues to look like a real NFL lineman which was fully demonstrated when moved to center after McCoy went down 18 plays into the game. His replacement at guard, Throckmorton, was an open gate.

As great as Olave has been and will continue to be in the future - I sure wish the Saints had their 1st round pick in the coming draft as it's going to be a high one.

My Ravens Game Post Mortem

The Uppers

- Defense had good pressure and containment on Jackson. (I just don’t see how you tackle a guy who can fumble the ball on the run, pick it up under pressure, and then hawk it 40+ yards downfield.)

- Good effort from all of the receivers who really did all that they could to keep the game interesting.

- Special Teams looked good with Shaheed handling the run backs.

The Downers (There’s a bunch so I’ll just hit a few.)

- Coaches are back to HIGHLY predictable offensive play calling and zero creativity with respect to Red Zone scoring efficiency. What happened in a week?

- If Dalton is struggling, why NOT use Hill more often under center...and not just so he can keep it to run for 4 yards.

- Not sure if it was because of shadowing Jackson, but Drake looked like Emmit Smith for no good reason.

- Roquan Smith wrecked shop. I got nothing.

- Dalton. How do you just go back to holding the ball (again) after doing such a great job of getting rid of the ball quickly the previous week? Also, missing a wide open Callaway? What in the the Blue Hell was THAT ish? Just when it looks like things are starting to click… we get a Red Ryder BB Gun instead of the fabled Red Rifle!

Mixed Bag
- Gilliken. Is this the same dude who got drug tested after booting the ball 80 yards?

- Has anyone done analysis on our injuries on Turf vs. Grass? Does the Dome need to be resurfaced to get our guys out of the blue tent?
