The refs were right on that 44 yard OPI call on Adebo, however. Did you see how pissed off Allen was on the sideline immediately after Adebo pulled that bonehead move? That had the look of a coach that has been trying to pound it into the heads of his players to play smarter just to see them screw up again.

Just like Boston here, I'm not saying Aleen should be sticking around, but it's mostly on the players for failing to execute.

"Did you see how pissed off Allen was on the sideline...?"

Yeah, we did, a LOT this season. Apparently, him being pissed off on the sideline is not scaring (motivating) his players to be less boneheaded.

Pull the strings of whoever is pulling the strings of Vegas... anybody got any juice for that?

I just wonder if Snyder is being pushed out because he's got some cheese that makes some important people sweat.

You're entering unholy territory here, which might make it harder to call high-level PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES "boneheaded"... Also might make it harder to enjoy a sport that falls under the category of "Entertainment" or "Advertising".

I have for quite some time abided by the precepts from infamous historical and fictitious literary detectives that have come to conclusions that no matter how improbable and seemingly nearly impossible, the obvious is in all likelihood the answer, even if no proof is immediately forthcoming, all a result of simple observations, common sense, deductions and ruling out other possibilities. We see, from time to time, little sprinkles of truth bombs, subtle little clues if you will, emanating from sometimes the most unlikely of sources. If one pays attention and notices these and interpolates them with the behaviors of many of these characters, how can we not come to some kind of meeting of the minds? The sad reality is that all of sports is now entertainment, even college now as NIL intertwines itself more solidly. Even despite that, I find that college is far more entertaining at the present than the pros.

Yes, we can probably thank Roger Goodell for that misleading portrayal of what is perceived as real football. So, college football is still football but the NFL shouldn't be called football anymore.

What confuses me is that the gambling industry got in bed with a rigged game.....sorry, I meant rigged Entertainment.

I love to gamble but not on sporting events. Or entertainment events for that matter. If I was gambling on the NFL it would be for a Tom Brady 4th quarter comeback. Either that or the team that just built the stadium and moved to a new City earning a playoff birth with or without a talented team.

Didn’t say a ****ing thing about acting like Guido. Landry, Saban, Belichick, all stoic coaches. No clue what you are going on about just as it seems you have no idea what I said.

Not my point at all, didn’t question any call. You commented about refs not calling specific holding calls. My point is that, that is actually the case most of the game. If they called them all, the ball would never move forward outside of a punt and even then it would get called back.

The difference between holding and not holding on the line is whether the hands slip to the outside of the pads where the Ref can see them. If the hands don’t slip that O-Lineman is still holding that defender by his pads most of the time because he knows if he can just slow him by a fraction of a second the QB may get the pass off or the RB may squeak by.

A successful play is based on fractions of a second but close wins and losses are because both teams played with heart or sh1t the bed.

Apparently the difference in a hold and not a hold is what the ref feels like calling. They felt like letting Tampa’s line get away with it.

There are 22 players on the field and 7 referees, some people make contact with the other team multiple times. Ever sat in a room and tried to watch a dozen 5year olds… Even if the referees were all Steve Buscemi they could watch everything all the time lol.

Do you visit many boards for other teams? You should try it, especially after that team loses. The consensus across the league is that the Referees are screwing everyone.

To me that’s a level playing field.
