Verbatim you made a 100% false statement about coaching as it relates to players once they take the field.

No one in this forum is trying to read what's in your mind .

Come on. The whole conversation has been about false start penalties, fumbling, etc. Fundamentals. And it is 100% true that once the whistle blows there's nothing the coach can do to prevent a player from committing a penalty or fumbling a ball. Nothing.

Absolutely nowhere did I ever say that the head coach does not affect the flow of the game with a multitude decisions. That, indeed, would be silly, K.

Coaching does matter & the current guy in charge doesn't have answers.

A career 12-36 HC record tells me he doesn't have a clue.

Once again, K, where in the heck did I ever say that coaching doesn't matter? What both Boston and myself have tried to convey numerous times recently is that no matter how much or how well a player has been coached, once they hit the playing field it is on them to execute fundamentals and there is nothing anyone else can do to change that fact. I don't believe that either of us has once said that the current coaching staff doesn't have issues with game planning or playcalling. Quite the contrary! I have repeatedly placed blame on Pete Carmichael for the ineptitude of the offensive scheme.

True to an extent. Once the whistle blows, we get to see how well trained and developed the Team is (COACHING). After the whistle blows, we get to see what kind of adjustments can (or cannot) be made to prevent or correct false start penalties, fumbling, etc. (COACHING). If the COACH gets to simply shrug his shoulders and say, "There's nothing I can do after the whistle blows", then the Player can say the same thing. The Coach can just stay home and watch the game on TV, and blame HIS PLAYERS. And the Fans (some Fans) can come on here, and blame HIS PLAYERS too. Hopefully tonight, we'll WIN, and nobody gets to blame anybody.

Whatever, Sinner. One thing we can agree upon is our desire for OUR Saints to win tonight.

Bump …

It’s situational football. The play calling and coaching in general is TERRIBLE.

Throwing on 3rd and 1 with a slant to a WR who had no catches or targets.

Clown 🤡 show lack of coaching on full display tonight.

No way Dennis Allen and Pete C should be back in 2023.

Bad COACHING is why the Saints took another L tonight.

And what about Ingram stepping out of bounds 1 yard short of the 1st down? Looked almost scripted. Am I a Conspiracy Theorist?
