You are wasting your time. If Winston had the stats and record that Dalton had they would be calling for his head and saying he sucks and is trash. I could be wrong but I truly believe that we would have a few more wins because of the big play potential.

Both are average but somehow Dalton gets a pass and Winston doesn’t. At this point what does it hurt to try something different…

They both make mistakes. However, Dalton does not throw as many interceptions. He isn't flustered with a pass rush, Dalton actually knows how to read a defense and find his check down valve if necessary. I had hoped that Winston could replicate the performance under Sean Payton. Apparently, Dennis Allen has seen enough to realize that Dalton gives us a better chance. Maybe not the best chance of winning but better than we would with Winston. It's unfortunate and I had hoped that Winston would play better.

Kinda off topic but I see former Saint FS Marcus Williams with another INT on Mitch Trubisky.

He’s a legit center fielder with range.

I was hoping the Saints retained his services. Oh well 🤷🏼

I remember a large percentage of Saints fans that wanted Williams gone claiming he was a defensive liability and couldn't tackle. I wasn't among them, but they were a very vocal number.

Keeping Marcus Williams would have been great, but the Saints did the right thing by letting him walk due to his salary demands. IMO, FS is generally a position best not to break the bank on, and in most situations is easy to find suitable replacements through the draft or mid tier free agency. Of course the talent evaluators must do a better job and not bring in almost washed up guys named Honey Badger...
