Creating dead cap while allowing what could once again be the most dominating player in the league to walk away and lead another team to the Lombardi Trophy would be dumb. That's why I expect the brilliant Loomis to once again convert Thomas' base salary of $15.5 million and his roster and workout bonuses of 950K to signing bonuses to free up cap to help make another run for the championship in 2023.
