Re: Observations from the Saints' Win vs Falcons
Really! Where's your seat?
As for being a dark season, I've seen much, much darker many, many times since 1967. Yet, in this one we are still alive for a playoff spot with yet another once precedented rash of injuries. Yet I still show up supporting my team with every ounce of my being. |

Re: Observations from the Saints' Win vs Falcons
Based on the Saints record and performance up to this point, this team does not warrant a playoff spot IMO. They likely would get soundly trashed by upper teams like Philly, Dallas, SF, Minnesota.
However guido is correct; because of the Sorry state of the NFCS, playoffs are still a possibility. Philly is one of the teams ahead. If we get smoked by them then the playoff chances are rightfully dashed. If we squeak out a win it will shown we had the ability to hang with the best the NFC had to offer and may lead to a home playoff game because Tampa can’t win without ref help (which they will likely get)They suck! I don’t see anything wrong with pointing that out. |
