Slim path to playoffs

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Nm I just watched the video and threw up my supper. I had literally blocked that memory out a little. Lol! Being a Saints fan in through the years gives you PTSD. Good grief now wonder we’re all so salty....

I could go on, but I think you get the point.

That play was nineteen years ago so I think we can pick at the scab a little and not worry too much about creating a bigger wound. I wouldn't touch the Minneapolis Miracle play with Boston's 10' pole.

The end of the game against the Jaguars was so Saints. An incredible finish with the hope to tie it with a very reliable kicker and the ball goes wide right. I remember it well. It was my first year living in a village. I was standing up in our little apartment going nuts and that shanked kick ruined my day.

I'm not really sure Boston has a 10-ft pole. I think he's exaggerating a little and he probably drives a big old truck to make up for his insecurities. LOL!!

I can't stop hoping for playoffs until the door completely shuts...but also the other part of me is wondering how bad it is going to get before we can count on contending again...

I feel we have the roster to content right now. Especially in the NFC South. Unfortunately, a large percentage of them are currently on IR.

If we had a QB and everyone was healthy, then yea, I believe we'd be contending. The roster isn't that bad. The glaring holes are there that keep the team from performing. The roster isn't perfect by any means. Still, we do have talent.

One option being considered to handle the unbalanced schedule caused by the cancellation of the Bills/Bengals game is to expand the field to eight teams this year to ensure no team unfairly gets a first round bye.
