They could if they want to. The currently are sitting at $9.8 million over the cap. They have quite a few contracts, however, that can be restructured. Along with roster bonuses they use something called "option" bonuses. They work the same way. They can be converted to signing bonuses to free cap just like Loomis and Harley do for the Saints. Philly basically copied the cap management strategy used by the Saints. They have about $26 million in convertible bonuses and about $10 million in base salary that can be converted, as well.

It started out as a thread with Ceedy bad mouthing the Saints so it was Saints related.

As one league source put it on Saturday morning, anyone who remains available at this point is overshooting the market.

He burned his bridges by disrespecting his Saints teammates. He's more harm than good.

He’s good, but not great or elite. He wants to be paid like the latter. He’s worth about $7.5m-$9.5m a year.
