Not Impressed.

I did not see the game today (am in Europe, no access from here).

However, from what I've read on this board, and from what I've read in recaps and charts posted on NFL.com, I am not impressed with my Saints.

1----- NO30 --> NO39 -----3 and out
2----- NO50 --> BUF40 ----5 and out
3----- NO39 --> NO46 -----3 and out
4----- NO39 --> BUF5 ------FG
5----- BUF23 ----------------TD
6----- NO35 ---> BUF22----FG
7----- NO35 --> BUF14-----missed kick
8----- NO41 --> NO47------3 and out
9----- NO13 --> NO40------6 and out
10---- NO50 --> BUF2------FG
11---- NO6 --> BUF19------FG
12---- NO48 -----------------Kneel

Look at that starting position, 10 out of 12 possession...

One touchdown?

Though I'm happy, I'm not buying into the delusion that my team is particularly good. They just aren't.

can anyone help me id this tune? it goes thwap thwap boom tch boom tch boom tch.

Qui a laissez sortir les chiens!

Basically, when the Saints don't turn the ball over and commit penalties on every other play, they win 9 times out of 10. When turnovers and penalties show up...well, you know what usually happens.

Anyway, I was thinking something to myself today as I watched the Buffalo game.....

When is the last time the Saints have absolutely gone OFF on somebody, and just completely beat them from start to finish? The last game I can think of is the NYG game in 2003. I really wish the Saints could come out, set the tone, and put a team away by the early part of the 3rd qtr. I know this can't happen all the time.....but it'd sure be nice to see it more often than once every 2 years.

Even today, as good as the Saints looked...and even though I was glad to see the ice the game late in the 4th qtr............they had to fall behind 7-0 before they started playing. Once they started, they never looked back. However, I'm still disturbed at the fact that this game should have been put away much earlier than it was. Just like the Carolina game.....that's another one that should have been put away much earlier.

I"m lovin the "W" we got today.......and I'm not really surprised to see that (I said all last week that the Saints weren't as bad as they'd been playing) .....but if they keep letting teams hang around until the 4th qtr, eventually they are going to wind up on the OTHER end of a "Carolina" or "Buffalo" type of game.

So far this season the Saints have been killing themselves. We need to start killing the other team. Hopefully we will see the Saints pound Green Bay

I do think the the Bills D is still capable of being very good so you can give some benefit for the team but yeah was not that impressed with the win. I think if that open drive didn't happen they would have looked better but...

Are you kidding? These poor Brits bolted in terror the moment she strolled through the gate.

LOE, if you get "coffee" at the cofee shops, try Northern Lights #5. It's rumored to be delicious.

That's alllllllllllllll coaching. Haz just can't get these guys prepared and ready to play. Poor discipline and preparation that loses us every other game goes right back to Jimbo.
