I have been redoing mocks, and the results show McKee moving up the charts. Not sure he is worthy. But one can't argue with his stature, Ben Roethlisbberger-esque. Seems to read quickly too. What say you... Hooker or Big Ben part deux?

Hooker is the much better prospect in my opinion.

Re: What should the Saints’ plan be to upgrade at QB?
I'm beginning to wonder if he would be there at pick number 40. I would hate to not pick him in the first round and then miss on the 5th year option if he's good. But would we need to move up in the second round to get him? That's what worries me. Throwing away more draft picks.

Ohio St tries to claim BDJ. But they (Urban Meyer) whiffed on him.

Sometimes you just never know what you'll get at QB (1st round) but at some point, you just gotta trust your scouts & take a chance.
I remember some of these so-called "experts" were labeling Patrick Mahomes as the next Jay Cutler coming out of college. Ha !. If the tools are there, coach em up . |

As far as Stroud, I can understand the apprehension. He's definitely surrounded by a lot of talent, but the kid is gifted. I would have loved to have seen him here under Sean Payton. |

Re: What should the Saints’ plan be to upgrade at QB?
Purdy lucked into a system with three matchup nightmares on offense and one of the very best defenses in the league. He wasn't asked to do any more than not screw up. He did no more than what Bridgewater did for the Saints when he filled in. I just heard they postponed his elbow surgery until March today. They don't even know if it is going to take full reconstruction which has ended more than a few careers.
