Is that what Spotrac believes his "worth" is? IMO that's pretty steep for a guy who has enormous ability yet hasn't played a full season since being drafted 5 seasons ago.
By the way, he disappeared in 2022. I'd like to have MD back for 2023 but on a team-friendly contract - full of incentives. Now if his agent is requesting ridiculous, stupid money, allow him to get paid elsewhere but hey, I'm just a couch GM |

Apparently he was informed it could remain a problem moving forward and removing it would not only insure the issue would be gone, he would get back on the field sooner.
