STEVE AVILA
TCU G Solid lateral movement considering his size/weight. Can change his direction quickly to engage/block. Team captain & has good leadership traits. Negatives - hand placement/inconsistent hands with a tendency to play "tall". Mid-round (3-5) grades. |

Tyjae "Shakespeare" Spears
RB Tulane Good burst, a solid change of pace back. In a phone box, he's hard to tackle (see Warrick Dunn). Looks small but plays BIG. See the USC/Cotton bowl. His official 40 at his Pro Day - 4.47. IMO his game reminds me of a guy up here, Tony Pollard. Negatives - pass protection, cut blocking & slight build. At the NFL level, I'd prefer his weight at 210 minimum. He has 2 previous ACL injuries as well. Mid-round (2nd-4th) grades. FWIW, all 32 NFL teams were present at Tulane's Pro Day. |

There has been a lot of talk about him up my way as a guy to compete with Cooper Rush & eventually replace Dak. I could be wrong but I see him getting selected on Day 2 only because of his ACL injury. |

Now, I hope we go DL/LB with pick 1. Then, one of the top three TEs will be there at 41. |
