I'm just a quality couch GM but I don't see a generational QB in this 2023 class.

I do see Stroud becoming a quality starter though.

Levis is a pick 6 in waiting. Nothing on his tape shows me 1st round tools.

If the Saints "trade up", I just hope it's not some guy who performed well at the under-wear Olympic games (combine).

I'd like for us to stay put @ 29.

No clue what the Saints brass have in mind for 2023, however if you "trade picks" @ 29 & 40, that gets you in the 12-16 draft order.

This happens every year. I liked Levis before the college season started, but I watched his games. Nah...I'd like him better in the 2nd round.

Bob Papa and Charlie Weis did their mocks today on NFL Radio with each going first in the two run-throughs. Weis took Van Ness for the Saints at #29 and Papa took him one pick earlier in the other draft at #28.

His tape sorta reminds me of Cam Jordan.

Immediate burst off the line, relentless, and smart with his technique.

Most see him as a Day 1 contributor.
