Olave gets Snubbed

ROY Finalists:
Garrett Wilson
Kenneth Walker II
Brock Purdy

Looks like Olave got bumped from consideration for ROY by the NFL darling and flavor of the month, Brock Purdy. I think missing two games and those stats due to injury may have hurt his chances also. Bummer.

But no hate on Wilson .. he had more TDs, catches and yards than Chris.

I know. It really sucked. This is a regular season award and isn't supposed to factor in the post season. Purdy only started FIVE games during the regular season. We got killed enough with injuries during the season, leilung, it would really suck if that also affects post season awards.

NFL awards are a popularity contest.

Nearly identical stats to Wilson while playing in two less games.

Olave is the man. He knows it.

If Chris Olave had a quarterback to throw him the ball, a coach who knew how to use him effectively, and had not missed a couple of games he would be leading the list of candidates.

I can remember one huge drop and multiple receptions where he didn’t secure the ball after catch. Something he definitely needs to work on.

Lots of quality candidates this year. Pacheco also got snubbed and he keeps looking better.

Just because he wasn't Rookie of the Year doesn't mean he won't be in the Hall of Fame. The man's Got Talent! Just imagine what he will look like with time in the system and a possession receiver to open up the rest of the field for him and Rashid Shahid. Let's not forget about him.
