Simply put, if you have a QB who can't make passes and your playcalling is one dimensional, it doesn't matter how strong your D is, or how much talent you have on Offense. You won't score points!

Seems like a Captain Obvious statement, but the point bears repeating.

Perhaps OUR playcalling was somewhat one dimensional BECAUSE the QB couldn't make the passes.

You're basically describing Drew Brees' last couple of years ...

On another note, the Chiefs crowd was louder than ever and definitely helped in big moments. This notion of making the conf. champions neutral field games would absolutely ruin the spirit of the playoffs.

... but would bring in tons of new revenue. That's how those billionaires became billionaires. I agree with you, but the NFL is a business. It will probably happen. Soon.

Definitely heard all of the crowd nuances on my newly tweaked home theatre system. It was as if I was in the stands watching the game.

Smash !!!

You really got me thinking now. I have a media room (pre wired) that is basically empty and I've been contemplating what to do with it for some time now.

Our previous home had the Bose Acoustimass 6 (old by today's standards), nothing fancy however the sound was full & rich.

If the Saints front office had been taking notes, a season like the one we just had (and possibly a few more) would not have happened.
