That's what started his downfall with Payton and the front office. He knew what he was doing, new exactly what time frame he would be looking at. The guy can say whatever but he knew. I hope he gets cut and bring in another WR that actually plays instead of drawing a check sitting in the tub. If MT comes back I won't be upset. If he comes back then gets injured again then I'll be mad as hell. An incentive laden contract is the only way to insure we don't pay him to be a cheerleader.

Mad at who? The teammate who rolls his leg? The opposing player who caused the injury? The turf manufacturer? God, maybe? No individual player tries to get injured. I can see being disappointed, but mad? I cannot fathom ever being angry toward a player for sustaining an injury. That's the very last thing that they could wish to happen.
