Saint trade 18th for Radiers 31 & 32
I believe that the Saints sholud select a DT with with the 17th pick. I think trying to figure out which will fall is almost pointless since I have most graded out equally. With the 18th selection the Saints should trade down an get both 31 and 32 from the Raiders. Here we should be able grab a LB, CB, S and most importantly Faine to replace Jerry.

I\'d make that trade in a heartbeat, but I doubt Al Davis would.

davis may not have much choice, they have the highest cap number and seveal of there key players are going to be free agaents soon. The real question is can they afford to sign 2 1st rounders. The Raiders were one game away, you don\'t want to break that up , but instead try to find the key player that can put you over the top. From 18 they could make a package that could put them in the top 5. They don\'t need much to make it to a superbowl, we need a hell of a lot.

What LB and/or CB do you see being there at 31 and 32 that will contribute to this team? There are damn good safeties rounding out the bottom of the first and throughout the 2nd, I know.

Some mocks and boards have both Terry Pierce and Gerald Hayes near the bottom of the first and as low as 10 into the second. Also Troy Polamalau at safety is projected to be a low first, early second. As for corners, Sammy Davis, Rashean Mathis to name a couple.
It would be magic to get two low first for a mid-first but it seems far fetched. We would need to kick in another 3rd at minimum. Worth Loomis and Davis exploring though. |

The 31st and 32nd pick in the draft are inexpensive to sign, if a team is losing players to freaa agency you have to replace them you dont trade away your picks if anything you trade down and get more. Besides the top 10 picks in the draft rookies are a lot cheaper than FA to sign. I think the raiders will take a qb and a DE.
