The injury bug bites the draft?
I always wonder what impact these early offseason injuries will bring to the draft day. Minnesota's Michael Bennett getting hurt before the draft like that? Does that suddenly place more thought on them trying to slide down a bit, acquire an extra pick to be able to draft an area they weren't counting on needing depth. Now they have to ponder will that foot heal and will he be 100% for this season?
P.S. I truly believe Emmitt when he said he was sticking around to win a Super Bowl last year when critics were riding him for just hanging around for another record and personal accolade. Yep, he's still around cause the Cards are contenders to get him another ring. Buddy you have nothing to prove anymore. Hang em up!! |
