Saints sign Jamaal Williams

The Saints are adding a certified scorer.

New Orleans is signing running back Jamaal Williams to a three-year, $12 million deal with $8 million guaranteed, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source.

Williams led the league with 17 rushing touchdowns in 2022 on the way to his first 1,000-yard rushing season. He has 3,652 yards and 30 scores on 915 career carries.

Very reasonable contract. I'm surprised we were able to get him. Watching him from afar, he seems like the kind of indispensable and reliable RB Pierre Thomas used to be.
