Re: So True....

No lies told. Not one. And he's right, same goes for coaches.

But Brady's mindset is different. He absolutely hates losing. Period. Same goes for Brees.

This is why I don't get how some "fans" are so willing to accept mediocrity on Sundays. It's a different game but the great ones adapt.

Accepting a fact is not the same as liking that fact. I accept the fact that I will die some day. I don't like it, but I know there is nothing I can do to prevent it personally. The exact same with the Saints. There's nothing any of us can do to change anything. That doesn't mean we have to like it. I accept that fact. Others are of the delusion that it is something they can change.

Again… and again… you simply fail to grasp the basic economic principle of Supply And Demand. You (the customer) continue to invest your hard earned money on a lackluster product. And when you vote with your wallet, Ownership and MIS-Management receive your message to “just keep doing what you’re doing”. You don’t realize that you can still be a fan, without being a sucker.

Re: So True....

The Washington Redskins/Commanders used to be one of the hottest tickets around, if I remember correctly they had very long waiting list for season tickets. In a relatively short time that situation turned completely around and seats were empty and season tickets can be easily had. I know the Saints situation is no where close to that mess, but it just shows how easy things can turn for the worse with poor management and ownership. The point I am trying to make is yes, fans do have a say with their wallets.

Quick question. How do you let management and ownership know that you are unhappy? If you are willing to accept a mediocre product that is your preference. But, if you're not satisfied and you don't want to call out the FO by boycotting the team, or selling your season tickets(I never would either), or by calling out poor coaching/management decisions, then how do you express your disappointment? Should they just keep doing what their doing without any feedback or consequences?

Re: So True....

There are dozens of reasons why the NFL is mired in mediocrity, and nearly all of them point to Goodell.
