AT Perry said he was told it was some “character stuff” as to why he dropped in the draft.

Well, here’s your shot.

I hope he does well.

It will be interesting to see who has more receiving yards in 2023, Perry or Thomas. Its a tough call. Either one is capable of 0 or 1000. I think the median expectation for both should be around 200-300.

Let's not forget about Bryan Edwards who Carr has a connection with. If MT plays half the games, especially the early season games when we are establishing our rhythm, then I expect Thomas to easily get 500 or 600 yards if he can hold up to the heavy usage. if not, then Perry who has a tendency to drop balls, should slowly see more playing time with Edwards. Nothing will help him see the field until he gets his focus and drops corrected though.

I personally expect Thomas to play 17 games plus the playoff run. His body has received almost no wear and tear in recent years and he should be in excellent shape.

Same logic applies for Zion...

And yeah, his body has received tear, just didn't require much wear to get it.

Big picture (year or two), let's hope Perry pans out and eventually replaces Michael Thomas @ WR. At this point, Can't Call Mike is just an idea. Hope is a 4-letter word.

There are a small few here that still haven't removed their B&G glasses and looked at this objectively. A 30-year-old WR that has missed 40 of 50 games in nearly 3 seasons - & still isn't 100 %.

Anyone here who claims to know how many games MT will play in 2023, truly doesn't know .

It's really strange, it's like he doesn't position his hands at the right point to catch the ball. He lets it get too much in on him. On an opposite note, I've seen him snag some pretty impressive catches out of the air. Like I don't think his hands are the problem, it's a timing issue. I mean a drop is still a drop in a game. I think his issues are more correctable than someone that is just clumsy with their hands though. That's just the impression I get from watching him.

That sounds basically like what Ireland said about him.
