I believe it was Triplett that said Kamara came in knowing his production last season was not up to his standards (not all his fault) and he appeared to being extra focused and motivated.

When Payton left he must have taken all the creativity from the play book with him. It's obvious that AK is not a bell cow type RB. He can run between the tackles occasionally but he's not built for it. Give that man some space to work in!

I don’t have the time or resources to do it efficiently, but I would like to see an evaluation of production from teams offenses based solely upon running backs over the last say, 20 years. A full stat breakdown of Who has gotten the most yards from scrimmage and total scoring from their running backs would be interesting. I’m guessing the Saints would be pretty hi on the list.

No reason to let him go. Won't save us any money. Won't make us any better.

He must have also taken the health of the offensive line away, as well. The two factors that made Kamara so good in space was 1) Drew Brees delivering him the ball, and 2) the offensive line working together as a unit to set up the screens.

Over the past two seasons we have had a QB out there with the ability to place the ball with the touch and accuracy that Brees employed and we've had a patchwork offensive line that literally haven't played two games in a row with each other in two years. I'm excited to see what he can do with a healthy line and Carr under center.

Trading Kamara isn't my concern THIS SEASON. The topic here should be how many weeks or months AK misses in 2023 due to being a knucklehead.

The NFL takes the personal conduct policy seriously.

I just hope he doesn't sit 8 games but that suspension is coming.

Knucklehead is kind IMO. I’m guessing I’m in the minority, but I feel very bad about the incident he was in. It’s not far from Roethlisberger’s sexual assault cover-up, or Petersons abuse of his child. I realize I don’t have all the facts, but it still stinks. I don’t expect me to agree with me.

That guy obviously had Kamara and his posse worked up pretty badly. I read somewhere that he had pestered them all night before forcing his way into the elevator and touching Kamara's female friend. We'll get more details when the trail comes around next month.

I get it Rugby and I know we do not have all the info. But IMO if you are a multi-millionaire, face of the franchise type player you shouldn’t be chasing some schmuck down the hall and stomping him with your friends because he hassled you. Rise above it.

If I'm not mistaken I believe Kamara backed off before his friends started with the stomping. Regardless, he has the benefit of a spotless record prior to this incident and having millions of dollars has never stopped someone from making a bad decision. I'd be willing to bet he never makes the same mistake again. And I'm expecting him to make a huge contribution to our championship run this season.
