I've heard that OTA's and minicamp are more attuned to the skill players than the offensive and defensive lines since there is no contact allowed. Until rookies report the week before training camp it doesn't sound like there's really much to miss. He was at rookie minicamp and has access to all of the same materials as the rest of his group.

Taylor did the same thing last year and it worked out fine. I'm sure that he'll be at training camp. Player fines for not showing up to camp can't be rescinded anymore by the team. If they don't show up it costs them money.
