2023 New Orleans Saints: Training Camp
The date has been set for the beginning of this season's training camp.
July 24 veterans report. The rookies report the previous week. They didn't get the number of seasons right in the tweet, however. It is the 57th season, not the 67th. They did correct it in the article. "The Saints will conduct their official conditioning test July 25 and conduct noncontact practices in jerseys and helmets for the next two days, as mandated by the NFL’s official ramp-up period. The team will practice in helmets and shells on July 28-29 and move to full pads on July 31 after an off day in the schedule." No doubt his agent irons out the guarantees before Training camp. I've heard that OTA's and minicamp are more attuned to the skill players than the offensive and defensive lines since there is no contact allowed. Until rookies report the week before training camp it doesn't sound like there's really much to miss. He was at rookie minicamp and has access to all of the same materials as the rest of his group.

Taylor did the same thing last year and it worked out fine. I'm sure that he'll be at training camp. Player fines for not showing up to camp can't be rescinded anymore by the team. If they don't show up it costs them money.
